Yes Instagram has been known as the CV of 2018, but the CV still reigns supreme in the professional sphere no matter what industry you’re in. CV and Cover Letter writing can be one of the most daunting and mundane tasks ever known to man, but it’s worth putting in the effort when applying for the companies you really want to work for.
Join us for a morning of light work and fun at the Workstation, as we take on pain points creative job seekers face when trying to craft a knockout CV and Cover letter.
Learning Outcomes;
Registering for this workshop and clinic is your first step to securing an interview for that dream opportunity you’ve been eyeing. Some of the areas that we’ll be dissecting include the correct CV and Cover Letter formats, how to approach a job or internship listing, the language to use when crafting your CVs and Cover letters and common errors that disqualify applicants when they apply for opportunities.
By attending the CV Clinic you will recieve a one2one diagnosic session of your CV and/Cover Letter, where you will recieve detailed feedback and suggested revisions.

Yoanna “Pepper” Chikezie , Founder The Assembly Innovation Hub
Pepper, a seasoned professional in Fashion production, marketing and branding, has worked in roles varying from Stylist to Fashion Editor, Consultant to Brand Manager and Head of Channel of Africa’s first international Fashion & Lifestyle Station SPICE TV.
Pepper also founded Retrospective – Nigeria’s first vintage retail boutique in 2010 and now sits as the Founder and Director of The Assembly, a platform and community for fashion and creative entrepreneurs and startups. With over 10 years of industry experience an MA in Strategic Fashion Marketing and Management from the prestigious London College of Fashion, Pepper has not only had her fare share of CVs and Cover Letters to digest, but knows too well the ingredients of a strong fashion or creative job application.
Michelle Andrade , Chief Operating Officer Workstation
Michelle Andrade is the Chief Operating Officer of Workstation in Nigeria. Originally from Brockton, Massachusetts, Michelle received her Bachelors of Science in Business Management with a concentration on Accounting from Boston College.
Before making the leap into the start-up world, she worked as a senior accountant and analyst for companies in Washington D.C. and Boston, USA. As Workstation’s COO, Andrade uses her intellect, diverse skillset and innovation to create, implement and manage operations, member community and business development of one of Lagos’ largest and innovative co-working centers.
