Enter the #Passion2Purpose Competition supported by the London College of Fashion

For the second year in a row we’re teaming up with the short course team at the prestigious London College of Fashion (LCF), University of the Arts London  University of The Arts, London College of Fashion (LCF) – Short Courses to present the “Passion to Purpose” competition. Much like last year’s theme, “Bond & Become”, our goal remains to create opportunities to support the growth of Africa’s creative sector through these partnerships.

What’s this all about, you ask ?

This year’s theme of Passion to Purpose takes the last year’s objective a step further. Now we’re looking to expand the focus of our community to their impact on their surroundings. This year we plan to discover, explore and reward the hard work of Fashion Entrepreneurs within the community, as they create a positive ripple effect through their operations.

Through this we plan to bring to light these unique business models that are socially conscious to light as well as empower them with the knowledge needed to expand and actualise their missions.

Our partnership with LCF short courses gives us the opportunity to award a £500.00 discount off any one of their world class programmes.

How can I be a part of this?

It’s quite straightforward. You have two options. You’ll simply need to create a 1 minute video or collate a set of images that presents how your Fashion business makes a positive impact within your community or society at large.

All participants must submit their entries here. You’ll also need to post the entry on Instagram using the hashtag #Passion2Purpose mentioning @assemblyofficial and @lcfshortcourses for a chance to get your work reposted by us. You’ll also need to follow both social media accounts to be eligible.

Still a bit confused ? How about an example

  1. Upload a video (no longer than 1 minute) or a set of images (no more than 6) of how your fashion business makes a positive impact within your community.
  2. Complete the submission form along with uploading a high resolution (JPEG/PDF/MP4 file of your photographs or video via the submission link.
  3. Post the submitted image/content to your Instagram page including the hashtag #Passion2Purpose in your caption and mention @assemblyofficial and @lcfshortcourses.
  4. Finally make sure you’re following both Instagram accounts @assemblyofficial and @lcfshortcourses for your entry to be eligible.

After judging the entries one entry will win the Grand Prize of the £500 discount, which can be used towards any London College of Fashion Short Courses (Online or London campus).
