Tailors – Amarelis Atelier

Amarelis Atelier is a lifestyle brand that not only encompasses the simplicity of its designer ‘Omolara Cole’ but also using virtuoso fabrics, creates introspective collections consisting of cutting-edge designs and on-trend styles. All designs are fluid, timeless and classic.

They are looking to hire a tailor that is well versed in making female outfits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Detailed and neat sewing. Sewing of native, bridal, aso-ebi, bespoke pieces etc
• Fitting the garment and making any alterations.
• Creating a design (either by adapting an existing pattern or developing a new design)
• Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years design experience.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Excellent design and conceptual skills.
• Excellent sense of style and colour.

WORK HOURS

• Monday – Friday (9am – 7pm)
• Saturdays, 9am – 3pm (negotiable)

SALARY

• Commission based (Fixed rates) or 100,000 – 120,000NGN (Negotiable)
