
Operations Manager – Oya Abeo

At Oya Abeo, we create exquisitely designed products for the home by marrying centuries-old Nigerian artisanship with our exclusive and playful designs. The result extends to hand-drawn batik prints fashioned into kitchen essentials and luxurious feeling homewear. We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the full business operation.
Key Objectives of this role include:
- Maintaining constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols
- Increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
- Ensuring that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Tracking staffing requirements and hiring new employees as needed
- Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable departments
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
- Oversee materials and inventory
- Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans
- Develop, implement, and review processes and procedures
- Assist with budgeting and planning
- Identify quality control issues and offer ways to improve
- Formulate strategic objectives for different departments
- Help ensure the company remains legally compliant
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff
- Examine data and help forecast any long-term planning.
- Manage relationships with key operations vendors
- Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 or more years of proven success in an operations management role
- Strong skills in budget development and oversight
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
- Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
- Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications

- Monday – Friday
- 10 am – 6 pm
SALARY
- 200,000 – 250,000NGN
