Social Media & Website Content Manager – The Garment Factory

The Garment Factory is an international textile production company that retails fabric and has its own in-house RTW label. They work with traditional Ankara and Adire designs printed using unconventional base fabric. They recently started sourcing and working with locally produced cotton fabric. They are in the process of launching a concept store which will carry specially curated locally produced artisanal products/brands.


Social Media

1. Oversee and run company social media platforms.

2. Create a social media engagement strategy for the brand with the goal of driving effective engagement from our followers.

3. Manage and drive key performance indicators (including but not limited to views, shares, reposts, retweets, sales goals etc.)

4. Plan, activate, and market interactive online campaigns and content.

5. Create and manage company content calendar


1. Create and execute a marketing strategy for product assortment/range

2.Evaluate and manage website performance.

3. Develop, maintain, manage and update website content.

4. Create appropriate website content aligned to company strategy

5. Regularly Improve user experience

6. Create strategies to grow subscriber base and website traffic

7. Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor competitor sites.

8. Drive sales on all platforms and meet company sales goals

Skills and Requirements

  • Must be adept to composing pithy, on-brand tweets, posts and messages
  • Must possess top-notch customer service skills including but not limited to communication, compassion, product knowledge and conflict resolution.
  • Must possess great attention to detail
  • Must possess outstanding problem solving, content creation, and writing skills
  • Must be extremely familiar with and able to comfortably engage with followers on all social media platforms
  • Previous work experience on social media platforms, web management or similar roles.
  • Must have experience with and be familiar with relevant computer programs
  • Prioritize effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • University degree or working towards completion of a degree (preferably in a relevant industry)
  • Experience and familiarity with relevant computer programs
  • Must be extremely familiar with and able to comfortably engage with followers on all social media platforms
  • Previous work experience on social media, marketing or a similar role/industry
  • Must be presently resident in Abuja

Salary: N50,000 -N100,000 (Depending on experience and skills)

Work Hours: Hybrid working arrangement
