SAVVIE is a fashion and beauty boutique. Our products offerings are Luxury Human Hair Extensions – Wigs, Bundles, Weaves, Loose Hair and Closure, Ready to wear fashion, Semi Fine Jewelry, Trend Jewelry, Bridal Jewelry, Custom Made Gems and Stones, Accessories: Handbags, Dinner Purses, Contemporary Occasion Wear Fabrics.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A retail shop seeks a committed business manager to manage its business for growth. The successful candidate;

  • must be dependable,
  • must be a self-starter,
  • must have good customer service skills,
  • good selling skills,
  • good business administration and operations skills.
  • Updated technology skills – a must.
  • Digital Marketing, A PLUS
    The Business Lead will also be focused on operating the store for growth –
  • Sales, Customer retentions skills,
  • knowledge of fashion/retail and implementing stability projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Gain Complete Product knowledge of the company’s offerings – if you don’t know the product you can’t sell it.
  • Gain an understanding of the business process and be comfortable telling the Savvie retail story to customers – You are a brand ambassador.
  • Strong Selling Skills – Good ability to cross-sell and upsell to customers, coordinating with rest of sales team and MD.
  • Customer relationship Management: Cultivate and develop relationships with high spenders and manage the relationship with that customer for repeat business.
  • Present and Dress well
  • Strong skills to sell using technology – WhatsApp, Instagram Facebook, SMS, Telephone customers are online now (they are not coming into store as much) Be able to Use social media platforms to communicate with customers.
  • Capture products and write about products.
  • Respond to all inquiries that business receives on any digital/online platform.
  • Must be able to arrange, display Fashion and beauty- Store Product display skills. Must (or learn how to) be able to photograph products using IOS or Android from good angles and good lighting.
  • Prepare/collate financial records for the business on a periodic basis.
  • Ensure completion of supporting documents for financial records for Receipts and Expenses.
  • Daily Sales and Daily Receipts/ Payments Daily Expenses, Petty Cash, and Inventory
  • Inventory Management: Prepare complete inventory reconciliation – purchases and sales on a monthly basis. (Input from sales team).
  • Manage Customer Database: Validate the database and include relevant information as directed.
  • Onboard new staff – offer letters forms, background checks.
  • Work with HR for recruiting.
  • Monitor and Prepare payroll for payment.  Ensuring pay dates adhere.
  • Prepare – Purchase orders for reordering Inventory.
  • Support Business for sales staff development, performance, and accountability by implementing Operation manual. Also, continue to develop and maintain the Business Operations Manual.
  • Implement business projects to completion as assigned by CEO particularly in digitizing the business.)
  • Manage all projects that translate to business growth for Savvie – Including planning and implementing exhibitions.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Supply management with reports/information on customer needs, problems interests and new
    product requests

YOU WILL ALSO

  • Support, groom, and coach sales staff to ensure they deliver on sales targets and customer service.
  • Support Business for sales staff development, performance and accountability by implementing Operation manual. Also, continue to develop and maintain the Business Operations Manual
  • Coordinate and drive the entire sales effort.
  • Supply management with reports/information on customer needs, problems interests and new product requests
  • Keep abreast of promotional trends and best practices.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.*Collate basic Inventory, Expense and Sales records.
  • Analyze territory/market potential.
  • Manage Participation of Savvie in Sales Exhibitions to include set up, sales and break down.

OTHER

  • Onboard new staff – offer letters forms, support background checks. Also, exit outgoing staff.
  • Monitor and Prepare payroll for payment.  Ensuring pay dates are adhered.
  • Review – Purchase Orders for reordering Inventory prepared by support staff
  • Implement business projects to completion as assigned by CEO particularly in digitizing the business.)
  • Oversee implementation of new systems POS and Quick books (Working with the external consultant)
  • Manage projects that translate to business growth for Savvie – Including planning and implementing exhibitions.
  • Retail is detail: You must be obsessed with impeccable recordkeeping.

Projects (One-Off) Consultant

  • Oversee business operations manual project (Input from MD and best practices)
  • Oversee product manual (collating input from the sales team and MD)
  • Oversee implementation of new systems – POS and Quick books ( Working with an external consultant)

Requirement/Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in management, business, or social sciences, fashion
  • Experience in fashion retail or beauty business, event planning, or business a plus
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite Package. Particularly Excel
  • Very good communication skills: Oral and Written
  • Must have an interest in retail.
  • Must have strong administration and coordination skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and can complete projects on their own
  • Must be friendly and possess customer service etiquette

Salary: N130,000 – N150,0000
