Granted, on the 21st of August, the Founder of The Assembly & Fashion Consultant Yoanna “Pepper” Chikezie has some ammo to share with you that will be positively lethal for that project you need funding on or for scaling your business operations in ‘Ace that Grant Application; for Creative Businesses and Professionals’.

Startups and small businesses are vital to the economy because they are drivers of socio-economic growth & incubators for innovation. A large number of these businesses need funding to survive, thrive and scale; as such, larger organisations and government bodies are increasingly offering seed capital through grants and competitions. Need funding? Ever seen a competition or grant opportunity that was the perfect funding fit for your brand but didn’t know where to start or how to properly articulate your brand’s value in a professional and convincing way?

As a Creative Professional and Entrepreneur who’s successfully accessed grants, Pepper will be showing you how to put together a stellar application that can help you snag funding opportunities from a very practical and relatable point of view.

You can look forward to learning the following at the class:

  • Finding the right funding opportunities for your brand or project
  • The basic sections of a proposal
  • How to convey your business and brand story
  • How to demonstrate critical information using visuals
  • How to estimate project costs
  • Best practices for funding applications
  • Common grant application mistakes to avoid
